For all the right reasons she’s the right one for him and he refuses to let another man have her despite his current circumstances. All he needs her to do is be patient and understand that her loyalty will pay off in the long run.
Thinking that with time her love for him will someday fade away, she finds out that walking away isn’t as easy as she thought it would be.
There’s a hold that he has on her that causes her to continue to stay when any woman in her right mind would leave. After loving him for way too long leads to a life of nothing but nights filled with loneliness, she questions her breaking point.

This was a a great read. I would love to know what happens next, but I'm tired of these authors writing a good book and then leaving us no idea what happens or if they have a sequel they want to charge a very expensive price for the book! This book was really good! I can't wait for part 2! Surprisingly the only person I was mad with the whole book was Serenity! She was so smart but stupid at the same time! I hope Khyree is ok!
I bought this book not expecting it to be this darn good!!!! It is so refreshing to read a book, that you don't want to put down! I'm on to Part 2!! 20 stars!!!
Great story...even with the few grammatical errors and incomplete sentences. This is what a lot of women go through in their life...well, on to part 2...
Omg, man oh man this is one of the best book I have read in a long time one. Sen need to wake up and grow up as well, she really can't be that stupid for real for real, as educated as she is , with the up bringing that she has, where is her self worth, I mean damn enough is enough already. Ever heard of self love duh!!!!!!!!
When I first began to read this book, it had so much potential. Unfortunately, after awhile all it became was sex between Zy and Serenity, Zy leaving to be with his family, and Serenity than promising herself that she would move on from him, over and over again. There was no substance. I had hope when she met Khyree things would change. I'm still holding out on that hope. I pray that Serenity gains confidence and realizes her worth in part 2. Zy is no good for her and she needs to cut him out of her life for good.
This is a real good read. I downloaded the book a long time ago and just haven't had the time to read. Well, a storm came through our city and I thought-what a perfect time to read. Since I started I've been eager to finish the book to see what Serenity was going to do about Zy once he found out her secret. Can't wait to read book 2.
Good read. I'm so mad at how weak Rini was for Zy. That was not love at all, he wanted his cake while he ate it too smdh. If Zy really loved Rini like he claimed he should have been able to accept her baby as she accepted his 2 not 1 kids she didn't know anything about from him and had to find out only to hurt her. and he called himself her man. I need Rini to snap out of it and cut loose all the ties Zy has wrapped around her neck. She can still be his friend but that's about all. I need Kyree to have survived, I need more from him. It kind of moved fast for him, engaged and a baby on the way??? He was just sitting in the bar now all of a sudden he engaged. I think him and Rini deserve a chance and could work if they gave each other a fair chance. Please let it be a mixup and he's alive. He needs to know about his baby.
